Prior to starting his management consultancy Ron Kennedy spent
over 30 years in Field Sales and Management in both IFA and Direct
Divisions of Standard Life with field experience in various parts of the
UK marketplace, including London (West End), Croydon/Surrey and
Glasgow/West of Scotland.
His career spanned the full range of experience
from appointment as an IFA consultant (ultimately as the company's top
producer), to branch manager (developing his branch to No1 position).
Whilst Area Manager for West of Scotland he piloted and developed the Direct Sales
Force and Tied
Agents for the Company
Subsequently Ron was promoted to Head Office post
of National Sales Manager/ Assistant General Manager to take charge of the large scale
development of Direct Sales Division on UK-wide basis, with its own branch and
management structure.
